Sometimes, you have to let go...

...on panty auctions.

I've been waiting on my pale pink lace panties to pick up some steam on ebanned. I've added online photos. I've thrown in "extras" to the package. And my total looms at a total of $12.00. 

Sayonara!

I decided to abandon them and throw them to the wolves. By that I mean, I've given up hope on them. This happened once before with some cute red and black striped socks - 

  

After much bemoaning and hair-pulling, they ended up going for a mere $10.00. At that point, I'd spent so much time wearing them for various poses - 

...I almost would've rather kept them than accept the entire $3.00 profit; those fees are really high! Luckily, they went to a very nice gentleman who was perfectly pleased and didn't demand a ton of extras, e.g. days of additional wear, elaborate photos I don't want to do -

(quick side note here: I am happy to pose nude. I do full frontal in my auction photos because I have a Flickr account and though they allow nudity, they'll pull it out of the public view at a hint of pubic hair. Want proof?

...I'm just not into full-on spread-leg pussy shots! And if you haven't figured it out yet, I don't shave...anything!)

After that extended parenthetical, I'll return to the subject...the lackluster interest in my pale pink panties - 

 

Which is a real shame.

So, I went ahead and did something drastic...posted the white cotton bikini-print panties I'd been saving up - 

I'd been saving these until the end up summer, as a special surprise. And hoping I could generate interest in something BESIDES cute cotton panties, as I have plenty of classy lingerie, like this red and black thong I've been photographing/talking about for ages - 

But I'm sensing something is a little awry in the land of ebanned...

My bikini-print panties got a bid within the first hour of posting them - "Great," I thought, "back in business!" But nothing today. And I've been noticing the site as a whole seems to be slowing down. I like to follow various sellers, not necessarily to eye out the competition, but just for fun. And even the girls that usually seem to do very well aren't getting the sort of action I've noticed in past weeks. Not to mention, the auctions don't even seem to be viewed as much...by now, I usually have at least 400 views on an auction, and I've barely past 200...not to mention, the email flow has decreased as well.

Something seems fishy...

I hesitated posting the bikini-print panties at all, but I'm still crossing my fingers and trying to pin-point what's off. Is it the start of the school season? The end of summer?

Keep my and my bikini-print panties in your prayers, dear readers!

 

Not so pretty in pink...

My ebanned auctions usually move pretty fast, but my latest isn't getting so much attention...

These pink lace panties are really cute, but I have a feeling that the color may not be very visible - they're a really beautiful, pale, pale pink that blends very closely with my skin tone. And they're a change from the usual super-bright, girly cotton panties I usually post. I tossed some more photos up there - maybe this will get them some notice! 

I'm particularly banking on this shot, as it shows that I don't shave. To me, this is a bonus...but who knows what the common consensus thinks!

Here's another one I added -  a nude. I'm also wondering if advertising them as "sheer" implies that nude photography is out of the picture (pun intended!); my auction photos are comparatively tame. I use Flickr, and full-frontal or "pubic hair" (what is this, Japan?) will slap your photos as "restricted." Flickr is actually pretty cool for allowing nudity at all, but it does mean I can't share them on public sites, even if the public site includes adult content.

Still, it's a helluva lot better than my much despised foray with Photobucket and they're obnoxious, "Whoa! This photo violates our terms of use," caption. Apparently, this image is the height of obscenity -  

This one, however, is perfectly acceptable. Guess they missed they nipples peeking between my fingers!

Flickr initially sent me an irritating "we changed your content to 'moderate'" email that was nothing short of baffling, as I'd flagged all my images as "restricted!" But what's really unnerving is that my photos were "flagged" by a "member of the Flickr community." I don't know if that's a nice way of saying an employee flagged me, or if someone who came upon my auction flagged me - which would be kind of messed up! A saboteur!

Speaking of photos, I moved the vast majority of my panty photos onto my new computer, so I now have a wealth of images at my fingertips - insert masturbation analogy, here.

Returning to the point of this post, however...

These panties are currently selling at a whopping $11. An all time low. I bought them for $12!

They've still got about three days left. But if they don't go any higher, with fees, I'll make a total of $3. 

Great. I can afford a soda.

In a race against time!

Just time for a short post today - I fell asleep at noon and am in a race against time to prepare for the exhibition tomorrow! Still HOURS of video editing left to do! At least I've got most of my film shorts downloaded - [update - tried to put one on here - my internet sucks. Why does it take hours to post a minute-long video? I'll try again, later.]

Tons of GORGEOUS images...vintage ads, mostly...

Okay, maybe that's a little more creepy than "gorgeous." But I found tons of vintage drawings of debutantes that are really quite stunning and I like the idea of juxtaposing their elegance with the eerie quality of early advertising geared at women. Compare this -

On an unrelated note, why is it that when you're in a huge rush for time, everything goes slower - Blogger execs, are you listening? Uploads take longer, software breaks, someone's always in the shower when you need it.

Initially, this set was reserved for someone to purchase by pick-up (I no longer do these, DON'T ASK!) but he seems to have disappeared. I considered putting the set up for auction, but there seems to be an overall dislike for black panties. Misguided, if you ask me! Actually, future post -
