MISAPPROPRIATION!

Alright, I wasn't going to do any more panty-related work today. I haven't gone to sleep yet and was about to curl up in bed and pass out.

But something's really got me steamed!

No...that's not a good "angry" picture...this steamed!!!

(actual photo I used for my first CL ad!)

So, as I was saying, I just spent quite a few hours taking photos - both to update my current yellow thong auction -
AND a brand new sock auction I'm preparing! I was in the middle of editing my images -

When I decided to mill through the current auctions. I was happy to see that my brand new auction is already at about $70 - but then something caught my eye.

I'm not going to give the specifics of whom this particular person is - but, should an astute reader come across their listing, it's abundantly clear...unless I'm being super paranoid.

I just finished a very large, very successful auction. The final bid was about $117 with a total of 33 bids and about 950 view. I've been told a lot of it's success was due to my style of continually updating the audience with updates, add-ons, and extra photos as the week progressed. Not to mention, I played up the fact that it was a black panty, for extra (this is kinda gross, even for me) "cream" viability.

So, what do I find on [unnamed fetish auction site]?

Some chick, basically ripping off my entire strategy. And style.

Actually placing the phrase "progressive pics" in the auction.
I read the listing. It's pretty much the exact same device, down to the letter - I mean, literally! Like, text that's very clearly been lifted from my auctions and barely tweaked.

This applies to her item description, "progressive" description, inclusion of her blog as a second place to find her photos (which is against the sites policy, by the way!) ... Down to her shipping description!

Of course, I can do nothing. I hate the competitive aspect of panty-selling - girls fighting against each other for sales.

Trust me...I have full confidence that this chick is no threat...

But it's I HATE IT WHEN MY ORIGINAL MATERIAL IS MISAPPROPRIATED! How ironic that this particular seller should boast her artistic background, yet find herself unable to create an original style - resorting to taking the hard work of others!

I'll probably laugh about it after I take a nap - but right now, it's pretty damn annoying! I put a lot of work into everything I do, and just typing "I take great care preparing packages," (direct quote) doesn't make it true.

I devote hours to designing my blog, writing auction material, and taking photos -

Really, I'm familiar with this in the art world, but...

(I'm faling asleep)

A True Webmistress!

I've been planning on posting on my blog since I woke up, but am so easily distracted, it's taken about six hours!

What have I been up to, you ask?

Well, I didn't fall asleep until 1pm yesterday - but before I dozed off, I called and invited my ungrateful boyfriend to dinner tonight, as I'd been planning this pasta recipe I invented weeks ago. We were to enjoy:

- linguine with yellow squash and arugula in a lemon-goat cheese sauce
- heirloom tomato salad with chickpeas, Parmesan and basil
- fresh whole wheat bread

Of course, he never called back. And I woke up at 9pm.

Whatever.

Despite this shabby treatment, I continued designing custom high-tops for his birthday. I'm an idiot.

Although I try to refrain ranting about my deadbeat boyfriend, the unexpected upside was I polished up my Photoshop skills  -
I then decided to do a little shopping for MYSELF on ebay, where I'm debating the purchase of this sexy little number -

But I'm so completely broke, even $23 is a stretch!

And then...bad news.

As I stated on this blog earlier, I put a bunch of vintage clothes and shoes that don't fit me on ebay. But, seeing as I have no common sense, I managed to end the auction on a Saturday night! This pair, brown suede go-go boots from the 60's -

(is my gold mannequin not awesome?)

...went for a meager $10.50! This is annoying on three different fronts. a.) I bought them for $75. b.) I immediately get emails from bidders who missed out, asking to "remember them" if the buyer backs out, and c.) The winning bidder is refusing to pay the shipping cost! I stated in my auction international bidders must contact me to arrange payment. The winner is in Poland. Shipping to Poland is $45, which was a shock to me, too! Of course, I receive no contact. I kindly offer to cancel the sale. This woman writes back and calls me a "fraud," despite the cited shipping rate coming from USPS.

And, of course, demands I ship her these boots, yet has paid nothing.
Thankfully, I contacted ebay and if she doesn't pay the full rate by Sunday, I can cancel her order - and they'll rescind her negative feedback and report her as a non-paying bidder!

AWESOME!

For once, ebay actually comes through and does the right thing!

Then, I continued my internet spree. I finally downloaded Dream Weaver and I'm so excited to start learning html and making my own websites!

Speaking of websites...

You'll notice I've, yet again, revamped "Adventures in Panties" - I added a bunch of "about me" lists and a long list of cool artists, musicians and writers at the bottom. My plan is to eventually link all of them to the appropriate Wikipedia/IMDB/Netflix page and let blog readers discover new faves of their own!

(I'm so altruistic.)

I checked my current auctions - my yellow thong is up to $55 with five days left to go! I can't wait to start tossing up more photos and "updates" to sweeten the final deal, because I was a little bummed that my super-fun black thong auction ended, today. Let's see what it went for - $117!!!

Earlier today, I made this "goodbye, auction" video, and posted it on YouTube -
...and I also plan on putting a direct link to my new YouTube channel on the blog!

Please note I've added a new "link list," specifically for lingerie and fetish related sites. I added two more sellers - "Italian Goddess" is another ebanned panty-seller (great if you're looking for someone a little more, well, buxom than myself) and Seleena K, a lovely transsexual gal offering not only her own photos, but photo-editing services! I've been chatting with Seleena on Twitter and it's great to link to someone in the fetish industry who doesn't strictly advertise fetish work!
I'm still planning my post referencing other panty/sock-lovin' girls (and maybe guys!) - just waiting to hear back from a few people!

It's also WAY easier to contact me - I shifted the "follow Kammi" portion of the site around. Initially, I placed a "chat" gadget but removed it because it showed my whole friend list! Still working out the kinks!
Ok, back to work! I need to update the "panties of the week," toss up more photos of my yellow thong -

...plus answer my emails, photograph and prepare this sweaty red shirt for a lucky customer -

...AND re-do my profile on, like, 20 different websites AND, post a new auction for these white, thigh-high socks -

Wow...just writing that tired me out! Maybe I need a nap.

Or an assistant.
