Moral dilemma about adding a wishlist

Since I flounce about both in panties and on the internet, I come across a lot of girls with Amazon wishlists on their blogs or sites. At first, I found this really annoying. The whole "I'm hot! Buy me a present!" aspect is incredibly unappealing. Not to mention it buys into the idea of women and money-obsessed.

Why then, does Kammi now have an Amazon wishlist on her website?

Because I always ended up clicking on those websites and really enjoyed looking at them! Yeah, it was sort of silly to see stuff like thousand dollar gucci purses, but other items gave me insight into someone's personality. Things like cookware, video games, and yes, even clothes of a particular style give you a better idea of someone's day to day life, even when they're across the country.

Not to mention it was pretty damn fun making!

 

I did try to add useful items...and a few luxuries! The other upside is, being a ditz, I often forget to buy things I need when I DO have the money...or end up having spent it by the time I remember! So my wishlist also serves as a "to-buy" list. As in, "Kammi, remember you need more tissue paper and photo stock!"

Or, more appropriate...

 

"Kammi, get more panties!"

That's my excuse. I hope I'm not undergoing some sort of ethical dilemma and lying to myself about wanting stuff. I don't know...if I am guilty of being greedy, I guess I ended up being punished by the HOURS IT TOOK to find the stupid "Amazon wish list" button!

In other news, I added a ton of new stuff to my blog! I'm constantly twiddling with gadgets  - you can now contact me and check out tons of "Kammi-certified" links! I started a Twitter account and I'd like to add my feed from there as well. Definitely a panty photo-stream.

In the meantime, since I fouled up the html on my latest panty auction and am convinced that's why I haven't gotten any bids today, here are some preview photos from my next auction - pink-lace, vintage-style!

 

Pre-show jitters!

My big exhibition is in two days! And things are about to start getting HECTIC! As previously stated, I'm making something like seven dishes to serve, PLUS a video project...I forgot to mention I'm also making an installation and collage!  

The work I'm doing is vintage-style - a lot like this:

My toe is still healing, but there's no way I can wear the amazingly beautiful white heels I was planning! My dress is purple, a vintage style, designed after the famous Marilyn Monroe sidewalk vent dress. I don't have any pictures of it (I'm sure some will be taken this weekend), but it's from Trashy Diva, a shop in New Orleans selling vintage reproductions...and some gorgeous lingerie!

  I would absolutely die for that slip! I check out there selection whenever I'm in New Orleans, usually a few times a year. Could definitely use a vacation soon...and a sazarac! Trashy Diva is going on the links list, for sure!

I try to capture a vintage look in my photos, sometimes or at least work on that "come hither" gaze! I think this shot is sort of "tough 50's" in a way...

 And...naturally, I have lots of vintage dresses! This red dress is one of my favorites - I wear it constantly. Purchased for $10 at a Salvation Army in Jacksonville!

 

I shot a whole photo-set on the roof for ebanned in pink lace panties. My roommate, Amaya, took them so, of course, they're stunning but, since we took them at dawn, the light's way too dim. I might post them up here in the next few days. If I don't run out of time - keep your fingers crossed!
