Well, it was an arduous journey, but it's finally up!

It took almost an entire week to create, ran into a million problems, and has lost me plenty of sleep, but it's finally up there!

I'm REALLY hoping this auction picks up...as I've already talked about, there's a particular seller on ebanned who's pretty much misappropriated my style as much as possible. 


Plus, apparently, there's a new girl who suddenly appeared. 


With almost my exact moniker. 


This could be a honest coincidence, of course. But it still gets my nerves rattled!

Not to mention, I've been hearing there's been quite a bit of egregious photo-stealing going on - never good news! I'm hoping to address this in another post, however - after I speak with my sources!


So, here's the deal with this PARTICULAR auction, in case I didn't make it clear in the listing...I tend to get, you know, wordy.

I had been doing very well on ebanned, so I really want to make this auction as totally awesome as possible! It's a competitive marketplace, and I know there's some shady tactics going on (stealing someone's concept and writing is, in my opinion, pretty slow).


Here's are some of my thoughts...

You know how I billed this particular auction as a "surprise party"? 


It's because there's a MAJOR surprise I'm intending on presenting near the end...and I'd like to play a little guessing game with bidders! 


Naturally, I love to update - and I'm planning on adding this factor into the auction later...assuming it actually gets bids!


(My last auction - the one I was using as a placeholder, I decided to just go ahead and delete. It sort of stinks, but I hate it hanging around out there, for no reason - I want all eyes on THIS pink thong!)


So...


I think it would be cool to drop hints about the final prize - or even - play something like 20 Questions...and whoever gets close maybe receives a personal photo!

 

Naturally, I like to play things by ear and I'm not entirely sure of 100 percent of the details.

But I'm REALLY excited about this little pink thong and am desperately crossing my fingers that it a.) helps me pay off some of our debt from this flake screwing us over b.) brings me back on the panty-scene as a totally awesome, unique seller and c.) sets me apart from my "competition."

 Of course, I'm trying to not be arrogant and bitchy about being ripped off - but it really sucks when you've work SO HARD to create and auction...the text alone takes hours to compose...and find it plucked it bits and pieces - just enough to avoid being called out!

Regardless, I'm going to try to update as much of the blog as quick as I can - and hope to throw in some cool new features throughout the week!

Stealing Thongs, Hiding Cats

I am SO bored of being cramped up in my bedroom!

When I first taking photos in panties, I swore I'd never appear in my bedroom. Overdone, I thought! I loved the appear of tearing off my clothes on the patio...

I was going to proffer an image here as example, but cannot. My hard drive full of photos is in the living room. 


Which lead me to conclude...


As stated many a time, I live in a sometimes lovely, usually messy live/work space/gallery/venue. A few of my roommates do not approve of my lurid endeavors.

Thankfully, these roommates moved out!


Or...were supposed to move out.


Yesterday.

Instead, they are still here. Prowling around. Cramping my style!


I intended on taking some over-due photos in their supposed to be abandoned rooms. In fact, just yesterday I took a romp through one of these assumed abandoned bedrooms and found a cute cotton thong!


I snatched it right up!


Apparently, it had not been abandoned and I received a stern lecture. The phrase, "who are you?" was included.


Um...the room was occupied my a male. Who, to the best of my knowledge, does not wear a thong. And typically leaves a trail of trash (and tears) in his wake. 


MOVING ON...

The worse of the soon-to-be-former roommates is also, sadly, owner of the best of the house cats. This little girl has appeared with me in such popular photos as:

You can't get a close look at her there...which is a good thing! Because I've been secretly hiding her in my laundry and hoping she's left behind! But my ex-roommates are stomping around the living room and little Viola is not in my room. She's sure to be taken! No thong. No cat.

That's a satin-y bikini in the photo from my personal collection ("personal collection" should be taken to mean, "I own the matching bra and thus, am keeping the panties!")

I do have another cat, however!

I was mildly annoyed at my paramour this morning (the man, not the cat). Admittedly, not for anything he'd actually done but for his behavior in a dream.


I'm (half) kidding.


As usual, I drank too much coffee and wondered what my "talking-to-cute-animals" voice sounds like on video:

Being stuck in my room, I inevitably ended up doing a little online window-shopping (I've oft found myself trying to think of a good portmanteau for surfing online stores without planning on buying anything - since it literally is "window-shopping"). And I came across this necklace in my friend Lisa's Etsy store, Archives Vintage.

For a second, I considered buying it - but remembered my collection of tiny animals and realized I could make it myself! 

 I was all excited to find a drill and get to work...but heard my roommates prowling...

And hid in my room. I don't want to be confronted with thong-gate 2011 a second time.

...which was extra lame because I was hungry! Luckily, I made a grilled cheese earlier. It was cold. I was bored.

I am bringing you these photos only in the interests of authenticity. 

I know I said I'd devote the entire day to panties. That, sadly, did not happen. And, once again, I'm sick. And it's at my own hand!

After I wrote yesterday's post, I was in bed, all set to go to sleep, when my roommate came to my door and asked if I wanted a beer.


Ugh.


Since I had such a good day yesterday, why not? 


BAD idea.


I don't drink often. Plus, I'm a total lightweight. Plus, I'd barely recovered from the flu that knocked me out all weekend. So, after a total of FOUR beers, I slept the entire day and woke with a massive hangover. 

I wasn't going to take ANY photos because I'm so nauseous but figured, in the interest of those with a "girls-with-stomach-ache" fetish, I'd offer up my attempts to make myself look sexy while the room is spinning and my head pounds.

You have to give me some credit for appearing on the internet with my hair messed up, revealing the scar on my forehead!


Not to mention...

I am very disappointed in these pale blue panties. When I bought them, I expected a really cute thong. Well, they're not a thong, they're a g-string. And in not made for girls who don't shave! I admit, they'd probably be sexy in the right context...

But they're so tiny! I wear a size 6 and can barely fit into a medium! And the front is entirely sheer! Which I don't mind; in fact, I was wearing sheer panties before I tried them on!

Regardless, I'm in a terrible mood. And sick. And my roommate is blasting electro-beats. And I have no idea what to do with these bizarro panties.

What a conundrum!

Sad news...I'm pondering the decision to sell as many panties as I currently do now, in the future! I should probably just stay off the internet when I'm sleep deprived and getting crabby, but after a rash of unfortunate events I think I need to start spending more time in the gallery. I just went over this chick's blog and was re-angered by being ripped off, plus annoyed with the sock auction, PLUS annoyed with being essentially called a "money whore," (I've had people give me free reign of their credit cards and refused!) PLUS I feel like I'm being pressured into doing straight-up porn. I don't know. We'll see.

I can never remember which "sad face" photos I've used, before!


I'm a HUGE perfectionist - every project I take on ends up becoming massively time consuming because I insist every element must be the best it can be...even something as silly as selling your underwear! I know I keep using this as an example, but this sock auction - 

...took like, a whole day to complete! I think I spent three hours just writing the text! 


It's very upsetting to have to receive rude emails...and it's even more upsetting to see ideas you've generated and spent massive amounts of time developing taken by someone else and used for their own gain! 

I have a really great idea I've been mulling over for the past week and I'm SO excited about it! It's a "package" that's never been done before - a completely original idea!

But you can't copyright an idea!


I still want to go through with it, but I DON'T want it copied!


But, of course, I want to offer just a few more panties before I jump right into my crazy plan!

See those blue and white striped boy shorts? Those are on the agenda! I'm still debating what to offer before my BIG IDEA (and I'm hoping to get up my slideshow of "coming soon" items this week).

They're lingerie is out of my price range, but they do have some sale items...I'll definitely be doing some "window-shopping" (or, the internet equivalent!) 


I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight - I mean, before noon - and try to get back on a regular sleep schedule. Maybe things will look better in the future and I'll feel more confident about panty-selling!

Frantically Fixing Firefox! (I love alliteration!)

Hi!

Well, it seems that the recent upgrade to FireFox 6 has caused many "adult blogs" to stop working -

I mean, in Blogger, at least! So far, I've gotten everything up and rolling again, via my end, except for the "panties of the week" slideshow - which I believe is due a problem with Flash.

Of course, I'm working TIRELESSLY (well, TIREDLY) to fix it!

But please let me know if "Adventures in Panties" isn't appearing on your computer!

Because I've been searching for a solution to this problem for the past 3 or 4 hours, I'm majorly delayed on emails and auction updates! 

Though I shot new photos and vids for some the yellow thong and white socks, I'm going to wait to post them until I've just gotten down the promised "uncensored" images from updates I posted last night! I've got plenty more to sleep, but just took my medication (chronic insomnia!) and it's already making me drowsy!

I ended up take 75 (!) photos of these socks - which are already caked in dirt. I'm particularly excited about them, because I'm pretty tall. I don't like talking about my own appearance or sounding vain, but I will say I'm quite proud of my extra long legs:

I also took some solo shots (I mean, sans Amaya), but got a little crazy messing around with the controls in Photoshop! I know I keep saying this, but keep in mind that, thought I do use Photoshop to enhance photo quality - adjust light and color balance in my dark house for example, my physical body isn't altered. It's not like one of those images on Photoshop Disasters, where catalogue models have their waists whittled to toothpicks! But I do like playing around with the imagery - 

(alright, that last one's a little over the top!)

I hope it's not another complete loss like the last pair when I ended up selling them for $10, leaving my total profits at $3 - although I'm still happy the buyer was a cool guy! I bought these for $23, and wear them almost every day in winter, so I'll be super bummed if my risk doesn't pay off!

Oh, and extra thanks to "b.f.," for letting me re-use some of the "lying on the ground" photos!  

 

A quick note to foot-fetishists, though...I often wear very beautiful shoes in my auction photos and I get a ton of questions from people looking to buy them - although I do have a RARE FEW pairs I don't particularly like and may be willing to give up, I'm not that into shoe sales. Somebody really upset me earlier by calling me a "money girl" when I tried to explain my shoes were very expensive and I wasn't willing to part with them. Yes, my shoes are often very expensive. 

But I am not a "money girl." That comment pretty much made my head spin and I guarantee anyone who's had any contact will tell you I'm, in fact, the opposite. I'm not willing to part with my shoes (particularly for free) because I can't afford to replace them and I don't feel right asking a buyer to pay $450 for my Chie Miharas - which is what it would cost for me to buy a new pair!

Though I'm happy to accept donations/gifts from visitors who enjoy my website (I put a TON of work into it and I can always use the help to keep it running and devote time to it) or even tips for particularly good service, just like when you have an extremely helpful waiter, I'm no "gold-digger!" 

I'm not into "raping wallets" or any form of financial domination, either. I refuse to take money unless there's a product or service involved.

Now, moving on to my yellow thong...

I've placed some added "incentives" on my yellow thong! I'm not 100% confident about them, but I'd like to increase the bidding gradually, moving on to bigger and better items.

I took some more photos and a little "stripshow" video, but I want to upload some material onto the auction. Of course, the finest material is found on "Adventures in Panties," but gimme a few secs...
